Their trained volunteers understand how difficult pet bereavement can be and are available to listen and provide emotional support.
The bond we share with our pets can be incredibly strong, and facing the loss of a much-loved companion can be one of the most difficult experiences we go through.
Grief can begin before your pet has passed. If you're facing the decision to say goodbye, you may experience sadness, guilt, uncertainty or even question whether you're making the right decision. These feelings can continue and change following your pet's death.
Everyone experiences pet loss differently. There is no set way to feel and no timetable for grief.
At Rainbow Bridge, we believe support should be available before, during and after saying goodbye.
If you need someone to listen, you can call our team on 01204 263 115. You don't need to have used Rainbow Bridge's services to contact us.
Pet Loss Support with Griefity
Losing a much-loved pet can be devastating, and we know that support can be just as important in the weeks and months that follow.
That’s why Rainbow Bridge has partnered with Griefity, a private grief-support platform offering pet loss resources, grief education, self-care tools, ongoing guidance and peer and email support.
Grief is different for everyone, so Griefity is there to use as much or as little as you need, whenever you need it.
There is no charge to you. Rainbow Bridge covers the cost as part of the ongoing support we provide to the families we care for.
Griefity complements our Pet Bereavement Cafés and Pet Loss Support Group, giving you another way to access support that feels right for you.
If Rainbow Bridge has cared for your pet, we’ll send you an email containing your personal link to access Griefity free of charge.
Your pet may have left our care, but our support for you doesn’t have to end there.
