Our Quality of Life Questionnaire is designed to help you take a step back and consider your pet's overall wellbeing, including their comfort, mobility, appetite, behaviour and ability to enjoy the things that normally make them happy.

A change that one pet manages comfortably may have a much greater impact on another, which is why it's important to consider your pet as an individual and look at their overall quality of life rather than any single symptom or condition. The questionnaire below can help you reflect on the changes you've noticed and build a clearer picture of how your pet is coping.

Quality of Life Assessments
A questionnaire can be helpful, but sometimes you need to talk things through with someone. We offer Quality of Life Assessments with an experienced RCVS-registered veterinary surgeon, either in person or by telephone. Your vet can discuss the changes you've noticed, assess your pet's individual circumstances and help you understand the options available.
There is no expectation that a Quality of Life Assessment will lead to euthanasia. Its purpose is to help you make an informed decision based on your pet's wellbeing.
If You Feel the Time Has Come
If you've made the decision to say goodbye, Rainbow Bridge Pet Euthanasia can provide a gentle and compassionate euthanasia appointment in the comfort of your pet's own home.
Our approach includes sedation before the final injection, allowing your pet to become relaxed and peacefully sleepy with you beside them before the final stage of their goodbye.
