Our Quality of Life Assessments give you the opportunity to discuss these concerns with an experienced RCVS-registered veterinary surgeon and consider your pet's wellbeing in a calm and supportive way.
The assessment looks at your pet as a whole, including their comfort, pain, mobility, appetite, behaviour and enjoyment of everyday life. Your vet will listen to the changes you've noticed, discuss any concerns you have and help you understand how your pet may be coping.
There is no expectation that a Quality of Life Assessment will lead to euthanasia. The aim is simply to give you professional guidance and help you make an informed decision based on what is right for your pet.

You can discuss your pet's health, behaviour and quality of life, ask questions and talk through any concerns you may have.
In-Person Quality of Life Assessment
£150.00
An RCVS-registered veterinary surgeon will visit you and your pet at home to carry out a Quality of Life Assessment.
This allows the vet to meet your pet in their familiar surroundings, assess their wellbeing and discuss their quality of life with you in person.
