Aftercare Following Pet Euthanasia

Deciding what you would like to happen after your pet has passed is a very personal choice. There is no right or wrong option, and you are completely free to choose the aftercare that feels right for you and your pet.

Your euthanasia appointment does not include cremation or aftercare unless you choose to arrange this separately.

If you choose Rainbow Bridge Pet Funerals for cremation, we can take care of your pet following their euthanasia and guide you through the options available.

Individual Pet Cremation

Individual cremation allows your pet to be cremated on their own, with their ashes carefully prepared and returned to you afterwards.

Communal Pet Cremation

Communal cremation is available for families who would like their pet to be respectfully cremated but do not wish to have their individual ashes returned.

Home Burial

You may prefer to take care of your pet's aftercare yourself and arrange for them to be buried at home.

Using Another Pet Crematorium

You are under no obligation to use Rainbow Bridge Pet Funerals for your pet's cremation.
